Litep-on Group Gold award design: E-housekeeper
Design concept- Mainly divided into two parts, one is monitoring the host and another 12 monitors which combined with the electrical plug. These monitors collect information from home appliances, such as the use of electricity consumption information, and send back to the host. This is an excellent concept design for energy-saving product.
Silver award: Embossing Braille printer
Design Concept- Principle of operation is through voice recognition technology, machines automatically convert voice into Braille tags. This design is inspired from the caring of blind people.
Silver award: Mirror Talk
Design Concept- This is an electronic magnifying glass. The camera on it can scan the words from reading documents and display on the front monitor screen. It also has web search function, press the button on the handle to go online searching for related information.
Bronze award: Compose
Design Concept- You sing a song on this electronic microphone (design like a pen, and then plug the microphone back, then the song you sing will automatically be converted into musical notation. People who don’t know the musical notation can also be a composer.
Bronze award: LED Cellphone
Design Concept- This is a simple and cheap disposable cellphone,. The use of LED to display the phone and text message. This cellphone doesn’t have screen, so only 2 AAA batteries required to use.
Bronze award: Iradar
Design Concept- Help the user find the stuff he needs. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in use can write the information into the magnetic wafer and read from it.
Best design concept award: Pulse
Design Concept- The device Chips can record user’s pulse to monitor the situation of physical health, and to give recommendations on health keeping. The power of device is from user’s body heat; hence this is also a energy-saving concept of a design.
